MARTINATOR TAKES IT ALL, POLE, SPRINT AND RACE.

Indian GP

In Japan, only one name dominated the entire weekend: MARTINATOR. The Spanish rider claimed everything, pole position, sprint, and the race for the second time this season (his first win on a wet track in the premier class), now he is only missing three points of the World Championship leader, Pecco Bagnaia. Johann Zarco, unfortunately, crashed one corner before the red flag, managed to get back on his bike, but, unfortunately, the marshals directed him in the wrong direction towards the pit lane entrance (as explained at the beginning of the season in the mandatory meeting for all riders, they are obliged to follow the marshals’ directions). As a result, the French rider was later excluded and couldn’t rejoin the race.

Jorge Martin:
I won on a wet track for the first time, I’m thrilled. I feel in great shape, and we’ve earned important points. I’m happy because we’re all working like crazy, and the results are here.

Johann Zarco:
I’m disappointed; I had a good start, had the pace, and could have done well because I was making up positions. I think the decision not to let me continue the race was the right one because it wasn’t my fault.
