SECOND PLACE IN THE SPRINT FOR MARTINATOR, EARNING TWO CRUCIAL POINTS IN THE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP. ZARCO DELIVERED A CONVINCING RACE (P8) AFTER A CHALLENGING QUALIFYING SESSION.

Malaysian GP

Jorge Martin finishes in second place in the Sprint Race of the Malaysian GP, gaining two points in the MotoGP standings and reducing the gap from Francesco Bagnaia to 11 points. Starting from the second position on the grid, the Spanish rider couldn’t make a strong start, finding himself in third place after the first turn. However, his race pace was impactful, allowing him to overtake his direct championship rival midway through the race and ultimately finishing in second place behind Alex Marquez.

Two yellow flags affected Johann Zarco’s qualifying, forcing him to start from the twelfth position. Nevertheless, the French rider showcased a convincing performance, crossing the finish line in eighth place.
